We should be decent and true in everything we
do, so that everyone can approve of our behavior. Don't participate in wild
parties and getting drunk, or in adultery and immoral living, or in fighting
and jealousy.

“Thank God it’s Friday!”
Even
though none believers say it often, Christians usually don’t have as many fun
things to do. That is to say, if you are a mature Christian living for Christ,
you don’t just want to be seen anywhere, doing anything in the name of fun.
You
have standards.
You
have morals.
And
most importantly, you have a God to glorify.
Below,
we cited some of the most popular things Christians do on Friday night for fun
5) Barnes&Nobles
5) Barnes&Nobles
Alas, the Christians we surveyed love to visit a nice shopping center, and hangout at a Barnes&Nobles. “What trouble can you get into there?”-Kelly. Indeed, just go to your favorite book section and your likely to meet someone with similar interest browsing there too. Introduce yourself.
4) Church Function
Go
to one of those boring churches? What solution have we found to this? It’s one
word,- don’t! The believers we surveyed said they count on their local church
body to provide Christian alternatives to worldly fun. “We replace Haloween
with Harvest Fest. All of the kids show up in positive costumes. No gargoyles
and stuff like that. We have games. We have candy. We cook. And more especially
we influence them for Christ.” – Marissa.
3) Evangelize
Though
it’s a common word, our surveys found that few actually do it. But the ones who
do are having not only crazy-fun, but they are growing in Christ and feel more fulfilled.
“I love going to the local prison on Saturday mornings. Those guys are just
like you and I, only they don’t know God as we do. They didn’t have the opportunities
we had to learn of Jesus and his way” – William. Try going out of the way to share
your faith with someone who really needs it.
2) Get Together
The
most successful evangelicals in our findings said that they look no further
than themselves for Friday not blasts. “I don’t need a church function or a
name for the event. I am the church! Where I am, Jesus is! And there is nobody
more fun than He is!” says 21 year old seminary student Jason, after explaining
that he meets up with other Christians and just hits the road, visits a restaurant,
or stays in to chat about faith, politics and business.
1) Anything
Without Sin
The
best answer we were given was, “It really doesn’t matter, as long as you take
the sin out”. Cited by most of our respondents, the theory here is that
Christianity isn’t taking any of the fun out of life, it’s trying to put more
fun into life. As such, we shouldn’t prohibit anything except sin.
